Three of our family enjoyed the very spacious family room for bed and breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome, in beautiful surroundings where we felt able to relax and read a book by the scenic pond. The Moorhens were a delight to watch! Breakfasts were varied and yummy. We will definitely return to this wonderful location, to combine exploring the Broads from both the land and the water.

Spacious Suite / Family Room

We picked Cotenham Barn because of it’s excellent reviews and we weren’t disappointed Jill and Phil made us extremely welcome and our barn was spotless. Breakfast was very enjoyable great food whilst watching the variety of birds that landed on the bird feeders. With a well tendered garden a small wood and a pond with baby Moor Hens the stress left us on arrival. A great location for exploring the broads and so much more.

Spacious Suite / Family Room

Cotenham Long Barn is located in a beautiful and tranquil garden. Jill and Phil maintain the self catering property very well. It is well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The patio outside was both secluded but also had a lovely view of the garden. The hot tub was lovely to relax in under the stars after a busy day of holiday activities. Our children loved feeding the chickens and ducks. The location is perfect for the Norfolk Broads and coast, both within 40 minutes drive. Many people return to Cotenham Barn and it is definitely on our list to stay at when we holiday in Norfolk again.

Long Barn

Beautiful little bolthole with lovely garden views and a sense of privacy disproportionate to its size. All extremely well planned to make the most of the space – and no skimping on the size of the shower either! Lightweight but very comfortable chairs mean you can move the furniture round so you can both take in the view from the window side by side; sit opposite and gaze into each others’ eyes or sit together watching netflix on your laptop/iPad on the bookcase. Very sheltered outdoor seating area all to yourselves. Option of a cooked breakfast – at extra cost – if you want it. Hosts both friendly and unobtrusive. In the countryside, with a footpath to the broad yet lots of cafes and pubs within easy travelling distance. Broads, Norwich, Great Yarmouth all within half an hour by car. The perfect place for a relaxing break for 2. Just please don’t book it when we want it!

The Nook

A really excellent cottage, thoroughly recommend. Big king size bed, great wetroom, well equiped kitchen, good decor, functionality and comfort all round. Phil and Jill are very welcoming without being intrusive, we had a great stay and will be recommending to friends who want to stay in the area.

Cotenham Garden Cottage

The conversion of the Garden Cottage has been done with much thought and care. It snuggles into its location perfectly and peacefully. The breakfast hamper was ideal and the hosts friendly and helpful. There is a lovely country walk from the garden to one of the broads. We loved everything about it.

Cotenham Garden Cottage

The Nook is the perfect location to get away from life. Waking up to baby moorhens and ducks at the pond, in the middle of the countryside but not too far from Norwich. We really enjoyed trips to Horsey to see the seals and exploring the Broads via canoe. Highly recommend!
